Cire Trudon
I "LOVE" a candle invoking "mossy stone, cloisters, and convents." A recent trip to Barney's in Las Vegas gave way to a joyful scent journey with the new (but I hear old) line from Cire Trudon of France. They hand blow the glass for each candle and have some rapturous scents for the home. The Carmelite Candle does share the echoes of a musty stone building with lots of green damp earth around. Available at Barney's, $75.
Apothecurio Organic Formulary & Purveyors of Exotic Goods was founded by the creative zeitgeists Amelia and Robb Field. Their passion for languorous scents and curious objects has manifested in their small Organic Formulary in Santa Fe, New Mexico where they offer opulent curiosities and develop handcrafted natural perfumes in limited collections from the most exquisite and obscure natural ingredients.
Like the apothecaries of a bygone era, Apothecurio has cultivated an opulent collection of the finest perfumes, candles, oils, resins, herbs, and exotic goods to share with like-minded modern alchemists and beauty devotees.
